2. PERSONAL DATA WE PROCESS

Liaise processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide these data to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:

VAT number;
IP address;
other personal data you actively provide, for example by creating a profile on this website, in correspondence and by telephone;
location information;
information about your activities on our website;
data about your surfing behavior across different websites (e.g. because this website is part of a network);
list of customer contact details via an app;
internet browser and device type;
bank account number.

3. SPECIAL AND/OR SENSITIVE PERSONAL DATA WE PROCESS

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect information about website visitors who are under the age of 16, unless they have parental or guardian consent. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. Therefore, we encourage parents to be involved in their children's online activities in order to avoid collecting information about children without parental consent. 4. FOR WHAT PURPOSE AND ON WHAT BASIS WE PROCESS PERSONAL DATA

Liaise processes your personal data for the following purposes:

processing your payment;
sending our newsletter and/or advertising folder;
calling or emailing you if necessary to carry out our services;
to inform you about changes in our services and products;
to deliver goods and services to you.


Liaise analyzes your behavior on the website to improve the website and the range of products and services to match your preferences. Liaise monitors your surfing behavior on various websites to match our products and services to your needs. Liaise also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data we need for our tax return.

5. AUTOMATED DECISION MAKING

Liaise does not make decisions on matters that could (significantly) affect individuals based on automated processing. This concerns decisions that are made by computer programs or systems, without a person (for example an employee of Liaise) being involved.

6. HOW LONG WE KEEP PERSONAL DATA

Liaise will not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories) of personal data: 24 months.

7. SHARING OF PERSONAL DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES.

Liaise does not sell your data to third parties and will only provide it to third parties if this is necessary to carry out our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we conclude a processor agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Liaise remains responsible for this processing.

8. COOKIES, OR SIMILAR TECHNIQUES, THAT WE USE

Liaise uses analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone the first time you visit this website. We place cookies that track your browsing behavior so that we can offer tailored content and advertisements. During your first visit to our website we have already informed you about these cookies and asked your permission to place them. You can opt out of cookies by configuring your internet browser to stop storing cookies. In addition, you can also delete any information previously stored via your browser settings.

9. VIEWING, MODIFYING OR DELETING DATA

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your possible consent for data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by Liaise and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can request us to send the personal data we have on you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you. You can send a request to inspect, correct, delete, transfer your personal data or request the revocation of your permission or objection to the processing of your personal data to hello@liaise.be. To make sure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), ID number and national registration number. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. Liaise would also like to point out that you have the possibility to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Authority for Personal Data. You can do so via this link.

10. HOW WE SECURE PERSONAL DATA

Liaise takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to protect against misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized alteration.
